February Sewing Plans

Hello February! Good news guys we are one month closer to getting out of this horrible winter weather. I can’t be the only one who is bored of coats, bored of layering and just bored of being cold and miserable.

So January has been a tough month for me sewing wise and I have a post planned where I will be talking about this because I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person feeling this way. But this month I am setting myself realistic goals about what I can and can’t do.

I have a new Sew Crafty Project that I will be working on and I’m pretty excited about this one.

First up I will be making the Colette Laurel in this gorgeous fabric from the Dashwood Altitude collection in 1209 I plan to go for Version3 because I love me a good sleeve detail.

Then to go with that I will also be making the Colette Phoebe, which was part of my 2017 Make Nine, in this Dark Denim. I haven’t quite decided on which version I will go for but I do like the buttons down the front…

I’m hoping that even though I will be making the Laurel in a dress version I could perhaps wear it underneath my Phoebe.

I also have some Suzy Issue 2 projects that are in the works but they will be top secret for a while. Sorry!

For me, my one sewing goal is to finish my leopard print Mona jacket from Wear Lemonade because I want a chance to wear this bad boy before it starts warming up again. So realistically I have until about June in the UK…

I know that this might take up quite a bit of time so if I have a chance I would also like to make something using my Cat fabric that i bought in Portland. I saw this dress on Mod Cloth and can’t wait to do something similar. Any pattern ideas do throw them my way.

So while that might only be two projects just for me, there are a lot of projects on the go so I better get my arse in gear.

What are your sewing plans for February? Let me know in the comments below.
