Today is the start of Fashion Revolution Week. Haven’t heard of it? Fashion Revolution is global movement with the aim to improve the fashion
Every time I set myself a whole sewing to do list, life seems to hand me a whole bunch of complications that make everything so much more difficult! So this months sewing plans include a lot of makes that you will have already heard me talk about.
The following makes have been carried over from last month because that thing called life got in the way.
Other makes I hope to complete this month also include:
The Wear Lemonade Greta dress. Ever since I saw the look book I was praying this would be released as a pattern. I haven’t quite decided on a fabric yet. I have a nice polka dot fabric that I think it would look good in but I worry it will then be too similar to my Tilly and the Buttons Martha dress. I don’t really want to buy new fabric so will have to assess my stash situation to see what will work.
I also have this Sarah Watts Cotton and Steel cat fabric that I really want to transform this month. Probably thinking a fit and flare dress and I wanted it to be similar to this Modcloth dress. So I haven’t thought of a pattern yet but I knew I want to get this made into something fabulous.
That’s quite a big list for now and I know I’ve been struggling to get anything done at the minute. If I have time and want to get a simple make done, I might also try and knock up a Seamwork Gretta. I have some lovely fabric that I only have about a yard of so this seems like a good use for the summer months as I don’t have many me made tops.
What are you planning to make this month? Have you made any of these patterns?
